Captain Ron Knott
As an airline captain I am required to read and study the
aircraft’s handbook in order to know and understand the safe operating
procedures for the plane. I am tested on the normal procedures, the abnormal
procedures, and the emergency procedures so that I can respond to any situation that might arise. I am responsible to fly
the passengers to their destination in a safe manner.
As a Bible teacher I have much more responsibility in making
sure that my students, and myself, make a safe journey from here to eternity. The Bible is the Handbook with directions to
heaven. However, many have not obeyed the commands. It is recorded in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not every one that saith unto
me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will
say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name
done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them. I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
The above group of people are going to find out on the last
day that they have been fooled by the system of man. Thank God I read the Handbook to
Heaven and found that I too had been led astray. I corrected to the instructions of Bible. Man-made salvation does not work.
That is the reason I have taken the time and expense to share with you Bible truth. Now, it is up to you what you do with
I have authored several Bible Studies and Christian Books.
“Trophies of Heaven” was his first book and is now in its 5th printing. Next he authored “Battered
Believers” exposing legalism in the churches. His next book was “God’s Guarantees for the Giver” that
explains the Bible way to give and error taught by many groups. And his latest book is “Testimonies for the Soul”
telling of mighty miracles of mercy.
I am past president of the North Texas chapter of International
Fellowship of Christian Businessmen. I have appeared on many radio and television talk shows and had his own TV talk show
for a while.
Me and my wife, Sharon, are generous donors to the needy.
We have visited and contributed to orphanages in Russia, Romania, Korea, and the Philippines. We are true philanthropist.
My wife, Sharon, and I have been blessed with 2 boys and
2 girls, 5 grand children, plus a host of children we support around the world.
We practice the directive, It is better to give than to
receive. I had much rather be on the giving end, than having to be on the receiving end.
